In the shadow of a century's affliction, October 2023 became one of the darkest chapters in Gaza's history. Israeli offensives have decimated Gaza: over 30,000 Palestinians killed, including 12,300 children and 8,400 women. This recent destruction of places of worship, hospitals, and schools is but the latest act in a relentless campaign against Palestinian existence and dignity.
In a groundbreaking 2021 report, Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem declared that policies across Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories constitute a 'regime of Jewish supremacy,' equating this to apartheid – a stark acknowledgment from within Israel itself of the systemic inequalities faced by Palestinians.
